Earth System Science is a graduate course that incorporates the development of Problem Based Learning (PBL) modules focused on the water cycle, the environmental stewardship of the Chesapeake Bay and Virginia’s watersheds. The year long course (2007-2008) is offered to Portsmouth City Public School teachers by Hampton University and funded by SCHEV.

I have been an Elementary, fifth grade, Science teacher most of my 20 years at Brighton Elementary School. I am currently teaching my 21st year of Science. This is my second year in grade 6 at Brighton. I received my BS in Elementary Ed in 1985 and MS in Elementary Ed in 1995 from Old Dominion University.
