I am a first year graduate student Ph.D student studying atmospheric science. I earned my B.S. in physics and mathematics from Washington & Jefferson College in 2015.
Before coming to Hampton, I spent two summers in the CREST Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE). During the first summer, I helped create a climatology for polar stratospheric clouds over the arctic and antarctic. In the second summer, I compared versions 6.2 and 7.0a of the SAGE II data. I also worked with Hampton for my capstone in physics, tracking volcanic aerosols using the HYSPLIT trajectory model and CALIPSO satellite data.
