I am a second-year Planetary Science Ph.D. student here at Hampton University. I earned my B.S. from Ohio University in May 2016, majoring in Astrophysics and Meteorology, and minoring in Mathematics. Current work being done is to contribute to research goals within The Living, Breathing Planet team in order to understand atmospheric escape and evolution over time. Working as a part of the Nexus for Exoplanet System Science (NExSS), this research hopes to improve our understanding of what makes planets habitable.
During my undergraduate career, I participated in NASA’s Student Airborne Research Program where I studied the “Diurnal Variability of Regional Transport and its Effects on Air Quality in Palmdale”. Both the abstract and presentation can be found here: SARP2015
